Academic Calendar - National and FET Certificate Pharmacist’s Assistant Courses
2022 year plan now available. Audio-visual workshops will continue, please book for the workshops you have not received yet and remember to submit your attendance answers prior to booking the assessment.

The courses each require 12 months of full-time in-service training and are sector-specific. The courses are offered in all 4 sectors of pharmacy (Retail, Hospital, Wholesale & Manufacturing). The last date for registration is 30 June 2024. Open the attached document for more details.

Act 101 of 1965 requires that a healthcare professional (doctors or nurses) who intends to dispense medicine, must complete a dispensing course before applying for a dispensing license with the Director-General of Health.
